A few simple habits will help protect your piece and preserve its matte, stone-like finish

  • Let It Cure

    First 7 days: Keep the surface dry and avoid cleaning products. Dust gently with a soft cloth.

    After 30 days: The finish reaches full strength and normal care can begin.

  • Routine Cleaning

    Dust with a soft microfiber cloth.

    For deeper cleaning, use a damp cloth with a small amount of pH-neutral soap, then dry immediately.

  • Spills & Moisture

    Wipe spills promptly, especially coffee, wine, oils, sauces, citrus, and other acidic liquids.

    Do not leave standing water, wet towels, or damp objects on the surface.

  • Heat & Protection

    Use coasters under drinks and trivets under warm or hot dishes.

    Place felt or cork pads beneath decor, lamps, plant pots, and other accessories.

  • Everyday Handling

    Lift objects instead of sliding them.

    Avoid sharp impacts, cutting, writing, crafting, or placing rough-bottomed items directly on the furniture.

  • Avoid & Maintain

    Avoid bleach, vinegar, ammonia, harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, and Magic Erasers.

    Contact us if the surface stops repelling water or may need repair or resealing.

    First Week: Don’t clean or get the planter wet. This allows the micro-cement to cure properly.


    After 7 Days: You can begin gently wiping it with water only.

    After 30 Days: The surface reaches full strength. From here on, standard maintenance applies.

  • 🧽 Routine Cleaning

    Use a soft cloth or a vacuum with a brush to remove dust.

    For deeper cleaning, use a pH-neutral cleaner mixed with water. Wipe with a soft sponge or cloth and dry immediately.

    Avoid harsh cleaners like bleach, acidic products, or anything abrasive—these can damage the surface.

    Make sure the drain holes stay clear so water doesn’t pool inside.

    Don’t leave standing water in the planter for long periods—it may weaken the waterproof seal over time.

  • 🌦️ Outdoor Use

    These planters are sealed with a matte, weather-resistant coating to handle Canadian winters and summer heat.


    For extreme weather (like heavy snow or freezing rain), move the planter to a sheltered spot if possible.

  • 🪑 Handling Tips

    Place soft pads underneath to avoid scratching your floors or decks.

    Always lift the planter when moving it—don’t drag it, especially when full.

  • ♻️ Long-Term Protection

    Re-apply a micro-cement sealer every few years to keep the surface protected—especially if the planter is used outdoors.

    For tough stains, use cleaners specifically made for micro-cement, and test them on a hidden spot first.
